Televic
Simplifying meeting control through user-centered design.
Televic helps organizations run meetings smoothly across councils, rentals, and institutional settings. Their software suite was fragmented across disconnected tools, making setup and control slow and error-prone for the people running each meeting. The new platform, Confero 360, replaces it with one role-based web app built around three personas, delivering 5x faster system configuration, a 40% jump in city council adoption, and a UX Design Award nomination.

The challenge & goal
Televic Conference wanted to replace their fragmented software suite with one centralized, web-based solution to manage meetings more efficiently.
To create an intuitive and scalable platform that supports multiple user roles in setting up, managing, and controlling meetings from a single interface.
Validating assumptions and specifying user needs
We first mapped the ecosystem-users, workflows, and context—together with Televic’s product owners. From this, we defined three core personas (technician, chairperson, operator) and shaped a product strategy aligned with real-world use cases in councils, rentals, and institutional meetings.

Design exploration
We used rapid prototyping and micro-animations to test interface behavior, especially for the complex dual-view dashboard. These iterations allowed us to validate the usability of control features such as microphone states, voting logic, and delegate management—long before development began.

Final solution
Confero 360 is a role-based web application that presents users only the functionalities relevant to their tasks. Technicians set up the meeting environment, chairpersons manage the flow and voting, and operators fine-tune audio and device settings—each via a tailored interface.

Outcome
- 5x faster system configuration
- 40% increase in city council project adoption
- A scalable solution ready for future personas and features
- Nominated for a UX Design Award shortly after release
Confero 360 laid the groundwork for Televic’s digital-first product strategy and became a backbone for further innovation across their portfolio.
